      Great tips. I think, I will show them to a friend of mine, who has been trying to lose weight for 6 years (since her second child's birth). And there has always been something to stop her. Hope this will make her more enthusiastic and motivated.

        You're so right about getting oneself motivated. With two young kids I find myself chasing them so often that I'm too tired to do anything these days. But that is a poor excuse. Instead of focusing on weight loss, I'll focus instead on staying active. More energy, more time to chase the kids.
