Hi
A few months ago I was diagnose with type 2 my sugars where over 30 and I felt rough, the doctors where very concerned and believe me so was I. However I used the Internet to find all I could about diabetes, started make my own bread, removed sugar/salt, exercised, and did meditation and now I'm at around 4.7 average with no medication.
It is a very serious illness, but by getting the correct information coupled with a positive attitude I believe it can be improved.
However a lot of the medical profession tell you to cut down on sugar, to me this is like telling a alcoholic to only have one drink every other day.... for me its NO Sugar period.
Thanks for the article.

Excellent information. Thank you. My mother has Type II diabetes, and she isn't the best at sticking to a good diet, and her physical disabilities keep her from exercising like she'd like to.
Her blood sugar is under control with medication, but she needs to lose weight. Any suggestions for exercise for a woman with degenerative joint disease? She needs knee replacement, so walking is very painful for her.
