Oat for breakfast are great. I add a small amount of honey and cinnamon sometimes, to mine.

        Thanks SenorCoconut!

Sorry, but I can't stand oatmeal. I'd rather get my oats from cookies, but that's not a waistline friendly way to get them. They are good for you, oh yes they are, but I can't force myself to eat oatmeal.

I have a cup of old fashioned oatmeals with raisins, bananas or strawberries every morning for breakfast. But it doesn't seem to help with my cholesterol levels. I have to take medications to lower that.

Have you tried taking Omega-3 supplements. It worked for me.

Want a secret on how to save money on buying old fashioned oatmeal. Instead of buying the boxes in the store, go to your local feed store and buy rolled oats. It is the exact same thing, and a 50# bag cost about the same as a large box at the store.
