Warning: Lead Poisoning Or Autism? »
Posted by: Eagle_Eye 7 months, 1 week agoLEAD POISONING: Lead is a heavy metal that has very negative effects on the brain. It is particularly dangerous for young children because a developing brain is more sensitive to lead exposure than a fully developed brain. Years ago lead was the leading cause of mental retardation.

Yes it can. There are several treatments that I've heard about but they are called Kelations. Whatever the difference is between a titration and a kelation is beyond me. Maybe someone on this thread knows.
However, they work and can make a person very uncomfortable during the treatment but they do 'clean out the lead poison".

I'd also like to point out that at least one of the Chinese factory managers committed suicide over this. The people being exploited in China and elsewhere are not the culprits. Multinationals claiming the US as home base are!

Good article EE.Researching is not necessary. It's already been done and it's fact and not only lead.
I worked in the Chemical industry for 27 years breathing molten Tin vapors(a vital component of all plastic).Think about that the next time you put a bottle up to your mouth.
And if you've read some of my comments you'll know what it's done to me.LOL
They just haven't found ALL what these metals do.

Thanks for posting this EE. The time is well overdue for fair and safe trade to commence, and to replace this "free trade" BS.

In the early 1700s, the practice of lining rum kegs with lead was outlawed in the colony of Massachusetts because of health issues.
Australia outlawed the use of lead paint in residences In 1906
Germany banned it in 1926.
In the United States, the amount of lead used in lead-based paint was reduced in 1950, and banned in 1980
It seems that we were just a bit behind the curve on this one.

We are contaminated with so many things Jordan I hope you have great insurance to have your kids tested for everything man made on this planet.
Uncle Dave-you made a good point.A lot of things were known to be nasty long, long before they were scientifically "proved."That's why just because the gov't "approves" something after several years of testing doesn't mean much to me.

Whew, i finally got this thread to load. I'm having terrible problems with that on some of them.
NOW! When we baby-boomers were kids, almost everything had lead in it. I don't recall many people being "retarded" though.
I worked with mentally retarded elderly back in the early 80's and there was only 1 of them that was institutionalized because of lead poisoning. Of course 1 is too many, and i think lead is a major problem, but for some reason, i don't think it's the only problem.
Lead poisoning is just that, poisoning! But i don't think it's the main reason we are seeing so many autisitc children today.

i agree n2n:
we grew up chewing on lead pencils and eating crayons and paste. but don't have a lot of the problems of todays children. i believe we had a lot more exposure to "some" of these poisons back then. but, mom wasn't cleaning our houses with "anti-bacterial" cleaners, and keeping the windows closed. breathing air-conditioned air. we were living in houses without dust and dirt. we had a natural ability to fight off these chemicals. we went outside to play from morning until the street lights came on. whereas nowadays, kids are locked up in front of the computer, video games, or the tube.

They say Caligula was demented from lead poisoning from the lead lined aquaducts. (That might explain some things.)
And new findings point to lead poisoning from lead lined food cans as responsible for Lord Franklin's ocean disappearance (they all went crazy from it and couldn't protect themselves from exposure.)
