So i was with my friends playing soccer yesterday and one of my very good friend had an asthma attack. No body knew that he was an asthma patient. We did not even paid much attention when he started coughing and panicking i really thought he was like joking around but it got really serious. No body knew it was asthma attack and what to do so we called 911 and they told us to use inhaler. Now he did not had any inhaler with him (too bad) and he couldnt talk either he was just coughing and coughing. Good thing that ambulance arrived asap and they took care of him.
It was really bad experience to watch someone and cant help him either specially when he is one of your best friend. It sucked... I found this small article online and i hope it will help people recognize asthma attack.

Ginder good submit, my father had asthma it is very scary thing to watch someone gasping for air. I am happy for you that your friend got the help he needed. He should always have his inhaler with him he was lucking this time.

I have had 2 attacks, that is about the most scared i have ever been in my life. Panicing does a lot of harm as it will cause your muscles to constrict even worse than they already are.

Excellent article. I have asthma and have been hospitalized for it and pleurisy. This is well-timed too, since allergy season is in full swing in the US.
Thanks, Ginder.

My late husband had asthma, along with his many major attacks, he was hospitalized many times over the years. There were times when our local hospital ER did not know if they were going to be able to stabilize him or careflight him to the big hospital in Ft.Worth.
Each attack take a toll on a persons heart. After several years, I finally convince him to go to the doctor, before he got in trouble. (he could tell most of the times, when the weather or allergy's were closing his broncial tubes.)
Thanks for this article Ginder, everyone should know more about asthma.

Very good article, thanks for submission! Asthma is so common now that it's a good thing to know what to do if someone has a attack in your presence.
