Hello folks,
It has been awhile since I updated everyone on my prognosis. I had an ultrasound today on my neck. It turns out 10 more lymph nodes have surfaced, all of which seem to be normal. However, my surgeon said the same thing when he extracted 6 lymph nodes from my chest. They all turned out to be cancerous. Next week, I will be undergoing radioactive iodine treatment.

In the meantime, I will continue to post stories about gay and lesbian issues, among them Prop 8 in California. I also tend to post issues about Germany, though admittedly, it has been a while since I have. I consider myself more liberal than most, but not on the total left fringe. My advice to new comers to Propeller, follow the example of the folks who have been here a while, and keep in touch with us. As always, happy reading,

My many thanks and gratitude to all who have sent me notes, kind words, e-mail messages and posts during my time of illness. The surgery was a resounding success and came at a good time. It turns out the cancer had spread further than was realized, and many of the lymph nodes around my chest were cancerous. Although the surgery was extensive, I am home from the hospital, healing, and going back to work on Monday. Happy reading to all,
